02/2006 – SONR Release

Sonr.net is a coolio new statistics service for one’s podcast.
- Marc Canter, Broadband Mechanics/People Aggregator

I was pretty much blown away by SONR; I am very impressed by it. This is a much-needed solution and so I think it is going to be very well received.
- Richard MacManus, ZDNet

…very cool SONR system.

I’m an early stage investor (Tivo, etc.) based in San Francisco. I really like what you all are doing and wanted to see about getting together to chat about your product and vision.

Also, Daniel, I really like the way your site (dNews) is designed, it would be nice to see digg go in that direction.

Appreciation Award presented to Daniel Goodwin for: Willingness to jump into a new project with complicated requirements; Great attitude and willingness to learn, support others, and meet deadlines – even if it means working through weekends to get it done.

Daniel Goodwin has also excelled in developing the PC SIM he has been assigned. He figured out how the device worked, came up with his approach to simulate it in software, and coded a complete prototype – all on his own initiative. He has done an excellent job at making decisions and moving ahead.

By the way, it was a pleasure working with Daniel. He is great at what he does, and is very pleasant to be around. As I told him, I currently have a client I meet with every few weeks, who only has negative things to say about any work that our team does, no matter what it is. So, it is a nice surprise to work with anyone who is polite! :-)

Toby and Daniel,
I thank you both. For what it is worth and from a computer idiot who can actually work the administrative section of the on-line registration, I think you have worked up a product better than we’ve ever, ever had. Our conference will be better than because of the web site construction by Toby and the on-line registration by Daniel. I am sincerely, very grateful to you for your patience and contribution to make this the best for the 300 participants.
I am forever thankful to you Daniel, an individual I have never met in person, but who has become known as the king of the registration process. THANKS.

I’ve been working with Dave at Image and was speaking with him and one of their (best) web programmers (Daniel) this afternoon. They’ve been assembling some great ideas for presenting your material. I just love the progressive way that those guys think. This course proves to be very interactive and adaptable to the needs of each individual learner. I hope this project will be a model for VA web-based studies yet to come.

I just wanted to pass along that over the course of time working on the BCMA project I heard countless times comments made about the good work and expansive knowledge of Daniel Goodwin. In this day when it is so hard sometimes to hear good things I wanted to share this good thing with you.

As mentioned in the below email, Jeff H. and his superiors were very impressed with our ability to respond to the VA’s need to quickly produce 8, quality Web Courses in 3.5 weeks as part of the VA’s Veterans Health Initiative (VHI). Let me add that while the project was budgeted at 1280 labor hours, your creation and use of automated tools and leadership over your subcontract teammates enabled you to complete the project in less than 500 hours. Your eagerness to accept the project and your motivation and professionalism throughout it, while working closely with Jeff H. and others within VA, is admirable and much appreciated.
Thank you for your hard work and your continued contributions to our team and to Image as a whole. Well done!
- Dave Y. (Company Vice President)

Thank you and your team so much for putting in the long hours, the extra effort and the patience it can take to deal with me when I am being a fanatic. This was an extremely important project and you performed grandly. I will put more in writing later, but I wanted to let you know I really appreciated it all before I closed the week out.
Believe me, my bosses in EES know what a job you did and are grateful for the work.
Have a great holiday. the HQ director who “owns” these modules put it, “We have produced a great gift for all veterans to be delivered this Memorial Day.”
